SSA PACKAGE APPROACH TO PROJECT MANAGEMENT
1. SSA team conducts reconnaissance survey of the problem survey and existing facilities, compiles all available data and collects samples.
2. Samples are analysed alternatively.
3. Data is analysed by SSA interdisciplinary associates and various alternatives are reviewed. SSA team composition depends on the needs of the specific project.
4. A proposal is submitted to the client and a detailed slide presentation is made, wherever called for.
5. Brainstorming sessions are held and a refined offer is submitted if necessary.
6. When the proposal results in an order, SSA team gets busy with detailed design and drawings. further lab. Studies are conducted if needed for refinement of design. Site constraints are reviewed in greater detail.
7. A detailed bar chart is developed with clear enunciation and human resources needed for various activities are identified.
8. SSA sources the best available material and bought-outs from the market.
9. Standard quality control norms are re-visited with specific project requirements in view. Procedures and documentation are frozen and the project team is briefed.
10. Fabrication and assembly is carried out with strict quality control. Safety norms are adhered to.
11. SSA keeps in constant touch with the client especially for review and guidance on out-of-battery limit of work.
12. The final inspection is planned out well in advance to enable all concerned to be present from both sides. Shipment is done by SSA through their regular transport carriers.
13. Installation of SSA systems is fairly simple and is a matter of a week or two. Commissioning too is quite speedy.
14. Training for the user consists of class-room sessions with well designed visuals and hands-on training for operators at the plant. Each training programme concludes with certification tests and plant handing over.
15. SSA warrantee service team visits the installation during the warrantee period for providing further guidance to the users and samples are drawn and tested as needed during the warrantee period.
16. Thereafter, SSA keeps in touch with the client for providing further assistance and interaction.
